The Decatur Civic Center Awaits To Entertain YOU!

The theater houses some of the largest productions in town including all of the pieces from Theatre 7, Decatur's Community Theater! The theater is equipped for stage presentations, lectures, and movies. Highlights of the theater include:

• 460 comfortable seats with an unobstructed view
• 41' deep, 100' wide stage with 16' x 40' proscenium
• A full range Bozak sound system
• A computerized lighting system
• A hydraulic orchestra pit
• A 15' x 30' movie screen
• Two fully equipped dressing rooms

The Decatur Civic Center operates a part-time Box Office which is open on an “as needed” bases.  The Box Office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays unless otherwise advertised. Please call 217-422-6161 or email Csims@decaturil.gov  for current Box Office hours of operation and show information.
